Program learning Outcomes
The learning outcomes of the BSN program are to:
- Prepare competent and committed nurse clinicians for all healthcare and community
- Provide safe and quality nursing care for the prevention of disease, promotion, and maintenance of health to individuals, families, and communities.
- Equip the graduates with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for the provision of safe nursing and quality care.
- Integrate research findings for the provision of evidence-based best care for individuals, families, and communities.
- Develop the graduates’ critical thinking, problem-solving, decision making and leadership skills for challenging the complexities and demands of health care in the 21st
- Adhere to an established pattern of professional practices within the cultural, religious, legal, and ethical framework at the national and international level.
- Inculcate effective communication skills, while dealing with peers, patients, families, communities, and inter-disciplinary professionals.
- Enable the graduates to utilize concepts, standards, and strategies while leading and coordinating planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients, families, and communities’ care.
- Equip the graduates to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the prevention of disease, promotion, and maintenance of health.
- Prepare the graduates to participate actively in professional organizations for the improvement of the nursing profession.

- Identify and report issues resulting from climate changes on individuals and community
- Use healthcare informatics and technology legally and ethically to improve patient’s care outcomes.
