I, Dr. Abida Asghar, am currently serving as a Senior Demonstrator in the Department of Biochemistry at CMH Lahore Medical College & Institute of Dentistry. I completed my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry in 2007, followed by an M.Phil in Biochemistry from The University of Lahore in 2023. I also hold a Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE), completed in 2025.
My academic and research work focuses on the antimicrobial activity of green-synthesized Ag/ZnO nanocomposites against etiological agents of dental caries. I am actively involved in undergraduate teaching and academic research. My areas of interest include clinical biochemistry, nanotechnology, dental caries, and infectious diseases.
