Professor Dr. Aamenah Malik holds an MBBS degree from King Edward Medical University, an MPhil in Medical Biochemistry with a Gold Medal from PGMI, and a PhD in Medical Biochemistry from the University of Lahore. She has also completed CMT from the University of Liverpool, along with a Diploma in Healthcare Ethics and Professionalism (DHEP) from UHS. She is currently pursuing supervisorship for FCPS Biochemistry from CPSP and is also enrolled in a Diabetes Management course by the Royal College of Physicians in collaboration with Aga Khan University.

 

She has authored three books and has more than 45 peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals. Her research interests include cardiovascular biochemistry, oxidative stress, bioethics, leadership, and innovations in medical education. She serves as the Managing Editor of MedERA, the HEC-indexed research journal of CMH LMC, and is the Chairperson of the Globin Gene Network (Malaysia, CMH Chapter). She is also a member of the Technical Committee at ORIC and a founding member of the Society of Medical and Clinical Biochemistry. In addition, she has been invited as a speaker and workshop facilitator at various national and international conferences.

 

Her academic contributions have been recognized through several awards, including a Gold Medal for Best Oral Presentation at the CCME International Conference and second position at the ICHPE Conference.

 

Alongside her academic roles, Prof. Dr. Aamenah Malik is deeply passionate about extracurricular and character-building initiatives. She is the Founder and Staff President of the HEC-recognized CMH Character Building Society, which organizes the annual seminar IRTEQA featuring highly reputable motivational speakers, as well as workshops on bioethics, ethical earning, and spiritual development. She is also the Founder and Staff Coordinator of the CMH Lifeline Blood Donation Society and the CMH Photography Society, which organizes annual photowalks and an intercollegiate photography competition titled “Tasawwur.” She genuinely believes in holistic development of her students and ensures every measure to achieve this outcome.
