Workshop for Faculty Development titled “How to Write & Publish Research Protocol” Held at CMH Lahore Medical College. A one-day workshop for faculty development titled “How to Write & Publish Research Protocol” was held on 17th May at CMH Lahore Medical College & Institute of Dentistry. This workshop was jointly organized by Department of Community Medicine and L-ORIC. Facilitator was Professor Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Chaudhry, HOD Community Medicine. Twenty-five faculty members participated in this workshop including Demonstrators, Assistant Professors, Associate Professors & Professors. In this workshops, main components of Research Protocol such as title, objectives, operational definition, hypothesis, study designs, setting & duration of study, sample size calculation, sample selection, inclusion and exclusion criteria, sampling techniques, data collection procedures, data collections instruments, data analysis, references were discussed. How to publish your research protocol in International journals was also highlighted. Last hour of workshop was reserved for group activity and hands on practice. All faculty members highly appreciated this activity.
