Visit of delegate of SAHS, CMH Lahore Medical College & IOD to Ranger Institute of Special Education (RISE) Lahore.
A delegate lead by worthy Director SAHS, Brig Chaudhary Fayyaz Mahmood (Retd) including Associate Professor & Head of Department DPT, Dr Wajida Perveen, Coordinator Clinical Training & Faculty Development, Dr Sajid Zaheer Bhatti and Assistant Professor DPT, Dr Muhammad Umar visited the Ranger Institute of Special Education (RISE) Lahore, on 22 August, 2022.
Maj Farooq Ahmed Khan (Retd), Coordinator Punjab Rangers Education Secretariat (PRES), Ms. Umera Iftikhar Bukhari, Principal RISE and Dr Umme Habiba, Physical Therapist welcomed the delegate. A tour of the campus was conducted by the Principal Ms. Umera Iftikhar and Maj Farooq Ahmed Khan (Retd) Coordinator PRES. All the class rooms and different facilities were visited that have recently been renovated and uplifted.
The delegate was impressed by the vision and special attention of DG Rangers, Maj Gen Asif, that has been paid to the school in provision of financial resources and learning facilities for the differently abled children. The hard work put in by the entire School Team is also worth appreciating for its decoration and uplift. The facility presented a good example of the holistic approach to rehabilitation of children with various disabilities. Discussion regarding signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for mutual benefit was also held over a cup of tea and will be taken up with concerned authorities in near future.
