Quran Calligraphy Competition 2024

Qira’at and Naat Society, CMH Lahore Medical College & IOD organized its Third Quranic Calligraphy Competition aimed to foster the essence of the Holy Month of Ramadan and promote the art of calligraphy among students. This event provided a platform for students from various disciplines to exhibit their exceptional skills in calligraphy, a revered form of art deeply rooted in Islamic culture and tradition.

The exhibit was officially inaugurated and visited by the Chief Executive/ Principal CMHLMC & IOD, Maj Gen Salman Saleem (R) HI (M), Deputy Chief Executive/ VP Admin, Vice Principal Academics, Dean SHaPE, Dean IOD, Dean SAHS, Head of ION and respected faculty members on March 18th, 2024. The Principal exhibited a deep interest in the calligraphic display, engaging with students about their artwork and commending their dedication.

The calligraphies were judged by Brig Nadeem Zafar, Prof. Mueed Zaigham and Col Nadeem Yar Khan.

Based upon the judgment of worthy judges, the winners of the competition were Hareem Fatima from 3rd-year MBBS (First position), Noor Masood from 3rd-year MBBS (Second position) and Hadia Qamar from 4th year MIT (Third position). Following the event, certificates were distributed to both the winners and participants by the worthy Chief Executive/Principal.
