Professor Javed Iqbal Khokhar graduated from Nishtar Medical College in 1980 and served 2.5 years in Pakistan Army as a Captain. He also served as an in charge of Basic Health Unit, at District Sheikhupura and provided basic health facilities, both curative & preventive to the rural population. He acquired diploma (DMJ) in Forensic Medicine from PGMI Lahore in 1996.
He is working currently as Professor in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology Department, CMH Lahore Medicinal College since 2008. He served as CMO emergency ward and as Deputy Medical Superintendent, emergency ward, Services Hospital, Lahore. He served at King Edward Medical College now University, for about 12.5 years as Senior Demonstrator and Assistant Professor. He has vast teaching experience in the specialty and has about 15 Publications at his credit.

Radiologic Determination of Ischio-pubic Index for Sex determination.The study is in collaboration with the department of Radiology, CMH Lahore Medical College. Lahore.
For anthropological and medicolegal reasons, sex is usually identified from the human skeleton. The hip bone is normally used and the ischiopubic index is one of the best parameters used for determination of sex. This study was carried out to determine the pubic length, ischial length and ischiopubic index. Anteroposterior radiographs and CT Scan of adult pelvis (age range, 18-75 years) shall be selected and evaluated
