The School of Allied Health Sciences, Combined Military Hospital Lahore Medical College & Institute of Dentistry held its 1st Research Symposium on “Paradigm Shift in Management of Diseases Through Multidisciplinary Approaches” on 14th & 15th December, 2021 in Afzal Auditorium.
More than 500x attendees including Principal & Chief Executive, Professor Dr. Major General Naeem Naqi (Retd) Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), Vice Principal (Administration & Policies) & Deputy Chief Executive Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Farid, Vice Principal (Academics) Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Arif Mahmood (Retd) Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military), Director School of Allied Health Sciences, Brigadier Chaudhary Fayyaz Mahmood (Retd) Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) & Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), Head School of Allied Health Sciences, Dr. Mehwish Niaz, many dignitaries, distinguished guests, faculty and students from all over Punjab were present in the symposium.
Vice Chancellor, University of Health Sciences, Professor Dr. Javed Akram was the Chief Guest. This symposium provided a conducive forum for our young and enthusiastic participants to develop the research culture through exchange of innovative ideas. Quite a number of well-known Guest Speakers participated in this symposium. Through this platform the dire need for execution and implementation of Paradigm Shift in Health Practices for the Management of Diseases with Multidisciplinary Approaches was stressed upon all stake holders. The symposium is expected to be helpful in the institutional and educational networking for everyone pursuing his/her career in the field of Allied Health Sciences.
The Chief Guest also expressed his extreme gratitude for holding this pioneer symposium by the School of Allied Health Sciences at CMH Lahore Medical College & IOD. He also considered this symposium to be the first step in uplift of the Allied Health Sciences and better career opportunities for the students.
