CMH-LMC & IOD Quiz Society (CQS) is honoured to announce the incredible achievements by the students of CMH LMC & IOD. On the 26th of May, CQS sent a delegation of 3 teams to the 4th International & National Inter-Medical College Physiology Quiz held at the University of Lahore. Our teams performed exceptionally well by competing over 30 teams participating from Govt & private sector medical colleges across Pakistan. This competition was conducted by the renowned Quiz Master, Prof. Dr. Noriyuki Koibuchi from Gunma University, Tokyo, Japan and endorsed by the Pakistan Physiology Society, South Asian Society of Physiologists, IUPS, and FAOPS with facilitation from Prof Nori (Japanese Physiological Society).
By the grace of ALLAH ALMIGHTY, students of Final year MBBS; Natasha Nadeem, Abdullah Ahmad, and Abdur Rafae Ahmad under the supervision of Prof Dr. Ambreen Tauseef (Staff President CQS & HOD Physiology) brilliantly secured the 1st Position in this competition across Pakistan after acing through all rounds and were also awarded cash prize 50,000 PKR.
Internationally, this team went on to compete with top 3 teams out of 44 teams from different countries and secured 3rd Position. Once again, this glorious win has raised the flag of Pakistan at the international level and brought high fame to our prestigious institution, CMH Lahore Medical College & IOD, at national as well as at international level.
We are so proud of our medical students who, even years after excelling in their Physiology Professional exams, continue to have such strong concepts which also shows the competency of the Department of Physiology in inculcating a strong foundation for Medicine.
This win is an inspiration and motivation for all students in dedicating themselves to their studies and also emerging as well-rounded multitalented healthcare professionals.
