Head of Department
It is a great honor to be Head of the Department in this prestigious medical college. With more than 20 years of experience as a clinician, academician, and researcher, I am committed to contributing meaningfully to the academic growth and clinical excellence of our institution.
Our primary goal is to provide high-quality medical education to MBBS students by fostering a supportive, engaging, and intellectually stimulating environment. We aim to equip our students with strong clinical skills, sound scientific knowledge, and the ethical values essential for compassionate patient care.
In an era of rapidly advancing medical science, it is imperative to adopt innovative and student-centered teaching approaches. With my background in Medical Education, I am particularly focused on integrating modern teaching strategies, continuous assessment, and evidence-based learning into our curriculum. We also encourage active participation in research to nurture analytical thinking and lifelong learning habits among students.
To our MBBS students, I say this: You are not here merely to memorize textbooks or pass exams. You are here to learn the art of listening to the unspoken, the science of evidence-based decision making, and the discipline of lifelong learning. My door will always be open for those who are curious, who struggle but persist, and who dare to ask “why?”
Our department takes pride in maintaining high standards of professionalism, discipline, and academic integrity. We are dedicated to mentoring our students to become competent, confident, and responsible healthcare professionals who can serve the community with dedication and empathy.
