“International Women’s Day 2023” was celebrated by the Department of Gynecology & Obstetrics of CMH Lahore Medical College and Institute of Dentistry on 8th of March, with the theme “Embrace Equity”. A panel talk featured distinguished personalities, Ms Rubina Yazdaani, and Dr. Tahira Ismat. The Institute of Nursing performed a thought-provoking skit, and students celebrated Women’s Day through an enlightening recital and a speech. An energetic music performance was also part of the event. Faculty and students partook a pledge for #EmbracingEquity, and concluded the event on a positive note for more such endeavors that empower women. The event was unique due to its being a multi-societal collaboration of the CMH Arts and Design Society, IFMSA CMH Local Council, CMH Literary Society, CMH Debating Club, CMH Music Society, Patient Welfare Society, and CMH Photography Society.
