National Awareness Seminar on World Health Day 2022 Held at CMH Lahore Medical College & Institute of Dentistry.
Department of Community Medicine of CMH Lahore Medical College & IOD organized a seminar on World Health Day 2022 with a primary objective of creating awareness among youth, students and general public about “Impact of Climate Change on Health”.
Principal Maj Gen (R) Naeem Naqi, HI(M), was the chief guest. Eminent medical professionals delivered lectures on issues such as “Our Plant, Our Health”, “Air Pollution and Health ”.
On this occasion, Poster Exhibition and Awareness Walk were also organized, in which students and faculty members enthusiastically participated.
Speakers of the seminar included Professor Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Chaudhry, & Dr. Gul Shaikh.
Worthy Chief Guest inaugurated the poster exhibition and appreciated the hard work & talent of MBBS, Nursing & Allied Health Sciences students.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Chaudhry highlighted magnitude of problem, Impact of Climate on Health and prevention and control of climate change and global warming.
Dr. Gul Shaikh, head of L-QEC highlighted the “Causes, impact on health and control of Air Pollution”.
Souveniors and certificates were distributed among speakers and winners of poster competition by the worthy Chief Guest.
