Prof. Dr. Sidra Cheema, Department of Pathology CMH LMC & IOD, & 4th year MBBS student, Manal Fatima Cheema, presented their research work after a rigorous selection process at the World Congress of Nephrology (WCN2023) at the Queen SiriKit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. After an inaugural ceremony hosted by the Queen of Thailand, one of the many highlights of the Congress was the abstract poster showcase. The physical posters were displayed throughout the convention center while the abstracts themselves were published in Kidney International Reports, the official journal of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN). However, the real feather in CMH’s cap was when one of their abstracts was specially featured on the WCN-ISN official Twitter page. Out of 4 abstracts, Prof Dr Sidra had the honor of being the presenting author for two abstract submissions, while Manal Cheema was the presenting author of one abstract poster at this esteemed convention.
