The Department focuses on the science and art of preventing and controlling dental diseases and promoting dental health through organized community efforts.

Departmental faculty provides instruction in the prevention of oral disease, community-based clinical education to dental students

Department faculty also contributing significantly to the teaching component of various high school and college enrichment programs at the college.
