Students are required to abide by the
rules and regulations of CMH Lahore Medical College. Cases of
violation of rules / regulations will be brought to the notice of
disciplinary committee. The committee will study the case in detail
and forward its recommendation to the principal who will endorse his
decision. Decision of the principal in all disciplinary cases will
be final. Salient features of the code of conduct are as under:-
Dress Code
Students would be required to wear
the prescribed uniform.
Attendance
To be eligible to appear in the
professional examination, every student is required to attain at
least 75% attendance at lectures, practicals and clinics.
Politics
Political activities of all types
are prohibited in the college and hostel premises.
Examination
Text books, notes, and cellular
phones are not allowed in the examination hall. Any student
coming 10 minutes after the start of the paper will not be
allowed to take the examination.

Smoking is strictly prohibited
in the college, hostel and hospital premises.

Students are not allowed to keep
/ carry weapons in the college, hostel or hospital.

Indoor / outdoor games are
prohibited during college and hospital duty hours.

Students are allowed to keep
cellular phones but they will keep them on silent mode
during lecture, laboratory work or in the hospital.

Pets are not allowed in the
College and hostels.
Books
Students on arrival will be provided
prescribed sets of books at economical rates. The discretion to
avail this facility will be that of students and parents.
Liaison with Parents
/ Guardians
Parents / Guardians will be kept
informed of the academic performance of the students.
Class Discipline
Teachers and students maintain extremely
professional interaction in the academic sessions which is a very
distinct feature of the college, and the same has to be continued at
all times. Students must switch off their cellular phones before
they enter the lecture room, laboratories, library, and hospital
wards.
