Selection Process

The selection process comprises of an entry test of UHS (MACT),

entry test of CMH Lahore Medical College and interview.

UHS Entry Test

This Test is conducted by University of Health Sciences Lahore

basically for selection of candidates for admission into the public

sector medical colleges of Punjab. Entry test of other provinces is

also acceptable.

College Entry Test

It is a competitive test conducted by CMH Lahore Medical College.

This Test will be held on 18th September 2011 at 08:00 a.m. in the

examination hall, of the Punjab University located at Wahadat Road,

Lahore. Test will be based on multiple choice formats. Subjects

included are Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English of higher

secondary school level. The results of the entry test will be displayed

on the college notice board and website (www.cmhlahore.edu.pk).

Results will not be sent by mail.

Interviews

Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in

Matric, FSc (or equivalent exams), UHS (MCAT) and entry test. Candidates short listed on the basis of

merit will be called for interview, which will be conducted by a panel of three persons. The purpose of the

interview is to evaluate the personality of the applicant and the motivation level to become a doctor.

Confirmation of Admission

Admission of the selected students will be confirmed only after they have deposited the college admission,

tuition and other fees as prescribed, within 8 days of announcement of the result. If a seat is not confirmed

by due date, it will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.

Once a student is admitted in the college, his Matric, FSc, and other certificates will be sent to the concerned

Board / University / Institution for verification. If the documents are found incorrect the students will be

expelled from the college and his fees / dues will not be refunded.
