Department of Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Management

The department is recognized for full four years of FCPS training by CPSP. Currently seven FCPS part II trainees are undergoing training at different levels. Presently seven well equipped main operation theatres, one dental OT and one minor operation theatre are being managed by this department. Shortly two cardiac theatres (in newly established cardiac centre) and two emergency obstetric theatres will be made functional.

All types of surgeries including General Surgery, Orthopedics and Grammatology, Thoracic, Neurosurgery, Urology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Gynaecology and Obstetrics Surgeries are conducted by the department. Being tertiary care hospital, all sorts of complicated cases are handled with utmost professional care. In addition 12 bedded ICU is managed by this department and additional pain management services are provided to various disciplines.
