Faculty

The Medical department of CMH Lahore is one of the major departments and the back-bone of the hospital. It consists of following faculty members:-

  2. Brigadier Muhammad Luqman (MBBS, FCPS), Associate Prof

  3. Colonel  Kamran Aziz (MBBS, FCPS), Asst Prof

  4. Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Khalid (MBBS, FCPS Nephrology), Asst Prof

  5. Lieutenant Colonel Shahid Ahmed (MBBS, FCPS, OJT), Asst Prof

  6. Lieutenant Colonel Zahoor Aslam Khan (MBBS, FCPS), Asst Prof


Capabilities

It is well organized dept which is capable of handling all kind of medical problems. It has following disciplines:

a. Department of Internal Medicine.

It is headed by a senior medical specialist who along with a number of dedicated medical specialists looks after the general medical OPD and medical wards of the hospital.

b. Department of Cardiology.

Two trained cardiologists under whom a number of medical officers work day and night, look after cardiac ailments. In addition to present facilities, a modern Cardiac Centre is under construction which will start functioning within one year. With the commissioning of this centre, a large number of specialists will also be posted by the Army and some will be inducted from the private sector. Presently it has following sub-departments:-

(1) Non invasive cardiology, ETT, Echocardiography, Holter monitor

(2) Well equipped, 10 bedded centrally monitored CCU with facilities of cardiac screening and pacemaker
