Located next to Anatomy, Physiology department has a well organized laboratory which is equipped with latest high quality microscopes, spirometers, perimeters, stethoscopes, sphygmomanometers, kymographs and eye charts. The department is maintained by experienced and qualified technical staff under the supervision of faculty members.

Dr. Shahid Hasan: MBBS, M.Phil

Designation: Professor and Head of Department

Dr. Shahid Hasan, a graduate of King Edward Medical College, is Head of Physiology department. He has thirty two years experience of teaching Physiology at the most prestigious institutions of the country and abroad. He has received extensive training in Physiology through his postgraduate work and by an active participation in the continuing medical education programmes like medical educational planning, system of evaluation and research etc. He has also served as an examiner on the platform of different prestigious universities of the country and abroad. He has about eight national and international publications to his credit along with an international book of the MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) with twice the number of publications in waiting.

Dr Farida Hafeez: MBBS, M Phil

Designation: Assistant Professor

She did MBBS in 1986 from Fatima Jinnah Medical College Lahore and DCH from Ireland in 1996. She had been previously teaching in the University of Medicine and Dentistry Lahore as well.

Dr. Samina Malik: MBBS, M Phil

Designation: Senior Assistant Professor

A graduate of the Nishter Medical College, Multan has received her postgraduate training from the University of Health Sciences, Lahore and is now actively involved in the theory and the practical teaching of the students, in CMH Lahore Medical College. Besides academic commitments, she is actively involved in organizing co‑curricular activities.
