Department of Anatomy
The Anatomy Department has a fully-equipped well-ventilated and spacious dissection hall with mortuary plants for storage of cadavers. The functional histology laboratory is unmatched and equipped with latest tools for microscopic tissue preparation and high-quality binocular microscopes for self-study including stereo-microscope and CC-TV attached with microscope. The department also has state of the art Anatomy museum with over 100 imported models of the whole human body, i.e., models range from the various human development stages to life-size human torsos, disc torsos, skeletons, enhanced models of organs of special senses and functional models of various organs and systems of the body.

Dr Nazreen sharif: MBBS, M Phil
Designation: Associate Professor and Head of Department
She graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in 1985. She did her M Phil in the year zooo and joined as a teacher in Anatomy department at Fatima jinnah Medical College, Lahore and later taught in Postgraduate Medical Institute Lahore. She has teaching experience of 17 years, published research papers and is currently enrolled for Ph D Anatomy at the Punjab University. She has attended various workshops on teaching methodology & medical education
Dr Razia Parveen: MBBS, MPhil
Designation: Associate Professor
She graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College and did her postgraduation from Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore. She has 12 years of teaching experience. She has various published research papers to her credit and is a coauthor of a book.
Dr. Mustansir Billah: MBBS, M.Phil Part 1
Designation: Assistant Professor
He is a graduate of King Edward Medical College, Lahore. He did his M.Phil part-1 in Anatomy from Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore and served as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor, at Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, University of Lahore, and Wah Medical College, Wah Cantt.
Dr. Ayesha Maqbool: MBBS, M.Phil
Designation: Assistant Professor
She graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore. She has teaching experience as demonstrator of Anatomy at various medical colleges of Lahore. She also participated in an international symposium on psychiatry and conducted a seminar on "Brain and Alzheimer's Disease". She has three publications to her credit.
Dr Sadia Siddique: MBBS, MCPS, FCPS
Designation: Senior Demonstrator
Dr Alia Amin: MBBS
Designation: Demonstrator
She graduated from Quaid‑e‑Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur. She has to her credit research paper on comparison of short term outcome of stapled haemorrhoidectomy. She has participated in a project investigating causes of spread of hepatitis B and C.
Dr Uzma Waseem: MBBS
Designation: Demonstrator
She graduated from Dow Medical College Karachi. She has worked in CMH Sialkot in Gynaecology and in CMH Lahore in Radiology. Presently she is actively involved in tutorial classes and practical teaching in CMH Lahore Medical College.
